5 Grade Chorus participants meet Wednesday afternoons from 2:35 - 3:10 and 6th grade chorus meets Tuesday afternoons from 2:35 - 3:10. Both are directed by Mrs. Anne Sprissler. When dismissed from rehearsal they need to either take the shuttle buses home, get picked-up by parents or walk home.
5th Grade Sectional rehearsals are part of the ensemble experience:
Auditions for voice parts: Any lunch activity
Students go to lunch and come up to Room 112 for activity on their assigned day, based on their voice part. They will be dismissed to go to seventh period.

5/6 Chorus
Attending the required weekly large group rehearsals is essential to a quality experience for the student and ensures excellence in the music program. Missing three or more rehearsals or three or more lessons/sectionals can hinder student progress and may hinder the musical progress of the student. Of course, situations arise and we always encourage speaking with one of us to work through this - child, parent and teacher. The ensemble director will notify you if your student has missed a third rehearsal or third ensemble/sectional so that you are aware of the situation.
Concert Attire for All Performances:
Music Department Polo Shirt, black pants, black socks, black shoes
Chorus Sectionals will begin the week of September 21 for Grade 6 students. Sectionals are scheduled for small group instruction and are grouped by voice. Although sectionals are scheduled during activity they are actually a class.
